The kitten waited by the curb until help finally arrived…
About a month ago, animal rescuer Layla D’Souza was walking home when she saw a cat.
Layla decided to go closer to him but he was very scared. The little kitten was on the side of the road.
She couldn’t leave the kitten there, so she picked it up and headed back to her car.
Although he was still scared, he was glad to finally be out of the busy traffic.
When the kitten came home, he was given a quiet space, but he condinued hiding in a corner.
The kitten, named Scarlet, finally began to open up much to the delight of his foster family.
He soon realized that he had nothing to fear and stopped hiding.
Scarlett quickly befriended Bella, their dog, and even started sleeping on her lap.
All day Scarlett ran around the house with his boundless energy, playing with feathers and cuddling when it got dark.
He uses up all his energy during the day, so when night comes, he needs a lot of love. .
Scarlett will soon be joined by another foster kitten so he will have a permanent friend he can cuddle with as much as he wants.
