Once a group of English researchers decided to go on an unusual trip, heading to one of the abandoned forests of Great Britain. There was a very old building in the shape of a very giant shoe.
However, no matter how much it aroused great interest among the experts, in any case it did not occur to them to present it to the public. They were worried that after doing this, people would just destroy it.
Further research also revealed that there is a very old story by an unknown author called “The old little woman who lived in a shoe”.
The tale was written in 1794, about a mother of a large family who lived in a shoe-shaped dwelling with her children.
Then, when this story was published a second time, it appeared in the “Christian Mother Goose” version. Literary experts noted that according to its original version, the mother whipped her naughty children every day before going to bed.
In 1901, she was already “kissing them with joy” and after that they were sent to sleep. As the times are changing, the methods of upbringing also keep changing.
When researchers found this amazing building, it was already in a bad condition and as you can see in the photo, only its facade is well preserved, so it is not so safe for visitors to enter.
So, in the end, a group of researchers decided to share photos of this incredible place on the Internet, asking people to join in the restoration of the historic property.
