The brave and kind-hearted people of Animal Aid received a call about a thin dog that was struggling to survive, writes ilovemydogsomuch.
He was skin and bones covered with plague.
A woman who lived nearby tried her best to feed the baby, but she was too scared to approach anyone.
He usually crossed the busy road several times, as if he did not imagine that oncoming cars could harm him.
When Animal Aid rescuers arrived, they were shocked by the sight of the dog. He was mostly a walking skeleton.
They tried to get as close to him as possible, to entertain him a little, but he was so hesitant. He wanted food, but the rescuers were very close to him, which made him very uncomfortable.
Just as the caller explained, the dog then wandered down the busy road.
There were trucks, motorcycles, cars that were parked next to him, but the dog did not seem to realize that the cars could harm him. The rescuers shouted for him to stop, but he did not do it.
This required immediate intervention.
One of the rescuers got in his car and got a net. They should have caught him, otherwise, he could have easily lost his life.
When he found himself safe online, they loaded him into a van and headed for the rescue center.
He was immediately examined by a medical team.
The veterinarian and his staff were not lost for a second.
His detachment was so heavy that he needed immediate medical attention. He was given antibiotics for secondary skin infections and some painkillers. The dog was sweet, patient, but afraid to touch.
As soon as he was healed, they bred him beautifully.
Animal Aid volunteers always stay with them at the farm for their first meal. They make sure that the dog is comfortable and that as much love is given as possible.
But when the volunteer put down the food bowl, the dog refused to eat. They were all very worried.
The poor kitten looked at the wall and refused to touch the kind woman.
But the woman, knowing her fear, realized that this dog should be left alone.
When the woman came out of the kennel and everyone gave the dog some space, she started eating. At least his empty stomach would rejoice.
It was obvious that the dog was afraid of people, but he needed daily medical baths to heal his squad. This was going to be a challenge. But no one surrendered.
It took a lot of patience, a lot of love, but he finally let the volunteers bathe him. He made tremendous progress.
Although most of his needs were met medically, everyone was worried that he would never feel comfortable in the sanctuary. Volunteers could not approach him, he avoided playing with other dogs.
Food and medical treatment were, of course, a priority, but this baby had to live a full life in all respects, it was a big concern.
To see what will happen next with the help of this amazing rescue team, you have to watch the video yourself. Too much to miss. Thank you, Animal Aid.
