Rescuers in Puerto Rico met a dog, later named Cassie, who was so abused that he did not even look like a dog. He had wounds all over his body, his face was so swollen.
It was unknown at this time what he would do after leaving the post.
Rescuers took him and provided immediate medical assistance. The doctors were worried because they were not sure he would even survive, but they promised to do everything they could to save his life.
A few days after he was in the clinic, he was already responding to the antibiotic he had been given. The swelling on his face had subsided so much that he began to look like a real dog.
The New York Bully Crew has posted its story online, which has moved thousands of people around the world. They all followed his daily progress, fortunately, everything started to look.
As the days passed, he recovered more and more.
He liked to run to the clinic and get out of his case. Despite everything he went through, he was such a friendly dog. Dogs that have been abused are usually very timid and nervous, but Cassie still loved human warmth and was very confident.
Once he was healthy enough to be sterilized, he was ready to fly to New York, where he would be transferred to the New York Bully Crew. She looks much better now, she’s doing great. He plays, meets new dog friends, loves life.
All that’s missing now is a loving perpetual home that NYBC hopes will help find it.
