All Emily knew was the boundaries of a small, dirty cage on a dog farm in South Korea, writes ilovemydogsomuch.
He was in a deplorable state, living in fluctuations, with his paws untreated, swollen, and excruciating pain from standing on the string floor.
He had a heavy detachment that caused him to lose most of his hair because he was never treated, it continued to get worse.
But his illnesses were the least of his problems. Emily was soon to be slaughtered for meat, but fortunately, the rescuers of the American Humanitarian Union intervened.
On a hot July day, rescuers arrived at a meat farm and saw him first. They came to him at the right time to save him from this nightmare, just like he’s 130+ other dogs stuck with him on this horrible farm.
They rushed Emily to a local animal hospital, where she was examined and treated for her problems.
When you see him today, you will never think he is the same dog. His transformation is incredible, he has flourished as such a beautiful dog, inside and out.
She now lives in Florida with her new family and enjoys every second with them. He is confined to a small cage and now has a large yard where he can run and play.
He has made new dog friends, he is so sweet, he is friendly with everyone he meets, no matter what he has been through.
