The love of a mother her child is undoubtedly the strongest force on Earth.
When it comes to their babies, mothers stand up to protect them.
But how this expectant mother decided to protect her unborn children is invisible. In a story like never before, a pregnant pig leaves a factory farm to give birth safely.
While walking her dog in the woods near Nottingham, England, Anna Aston was quite surprised to see a mother pig and her newborn piglets.
At first, he thought they might be wild boars, but then he quickly realized that there were actually pigs on the farm.
It was then that Anna learned that she had encountered a very unusual situation.
“I knew they were not wild boars. “They just looked like ordinary pigs,” she told the BBC. “I thought, ‘This is not true.’ You just do not take them into the forest. ”
Concerned about the safety of the little pigs, the mother who protected them, Anna called for the rescue of the Brinsley animals. The next day, John Beresford Beth Hughes went to investigate.
“[We] found out he had run away from a neighboring pig farm and had his children in the woods,” John told The Dodo.
“The children looked good, [but] he was thin, he could graze, but he was not looking for food, because there was a ring through his nose.”
However, as amazing as it sounds, the rescuers could not do much to save the female and her children. Because Matilda, as she was called, had run away from the farm, they simply could not choose to take them to a shelter.
“She had a motherly desire to escape and save her children, but we could not just collect them,” said John. “After all, we needed the consent of the owners.”
However, finding the owners was an almost impossible task, so the two rescuers took the media to rescue them. Fortunately for everyone involved, the story went viral; the happy ending was closer than anyone expected. But not without hard work.
Eventually, after Matilda and her children were taken back to the farm from which she had initially fled for money, thanks to the tireless efforts of very kind people, she and her children found a safe place to live for the rest of their lives.
“Matilda and her eight piglets spent the first night of their freedom with us,” the animal rescuer wrote on Facebook. “She is also such a good mother to them, now she does not need to worry about their condition anymore.”
