When Southern California was hit by a severe thunderstorm, the rescuers of “Hope For Paws” set out to rescue the homeless mother, Pete Bull, who had just given birth to 8 cubs, writes ilovemydogsomuch.
A family tried to help Pete Bull for several days, but he was too stubborn and wanted to avoid human contact.
When it rained, the family finally turned to rescuers for help.
In this video we see the rescuer approaching the mother dog while she is sheltering her cubs in a small den. When the raindrops scurry outside, the mother dog is horrified to see a stranger reach out to her.
However, she does not run away because she does not want to leave her cubs alone.
The rescuer knows that Pete Bull could easily bite his hand if he suddenly grabs his cubs. So he starts talking to her in a calm tone, assuring her that he will help her.
The mother dog is in a dilemma as she thinks about how to deal with the stranger, but she gradually decides to trust him and let him take care of her cubs.
We watch with reverence as the rescuer asks the mother dog to kiss her cubs as she takes them out.
That way, Pete Bull remains reassuring, never seeing him as a threat. Thanks to this thoughtful gesture, the dog and his cubs finally find shelter in the rain.
The mother dog was christened the Rainbow, and her cubs were named Thunder, Breezy, Misty, Raindrop, Flash, Bolt, Stormy Droplet. What a wonderful way to screw people over! We are confident that they will all soon find the most beautiful homes ever.
