The dog named Bowie was adopted when he was a puppy, but was returned to the shelter shortly after.
Months passed, but no one ever came to take him home, and the poor puppy sat there, waiting for someone to finally give him another chance.
Everyone at the shelter loved the sweet puppy, took care of him and paid a lot of attention so that he wouldn’t feel lonely and sad.
But still, Bowie needed a forever home for complete happiness…
In the end, the shelter decided to place him in a foster home so that in the meantime he could learn how to live as a pet before they could find a home for him.
But after two and a half years there were still no offers. Bowie is actually a very good boy and there would be no reason not to adopt him.
The only thing is that he just likes to be the only pet in the house, and also for unknown reasons he is afraid of children.
Unfortunately, there is another reason too: he just belongs to the breed of dogs that are always ignored.
“He is very well trained. The sweet boy just needs someone who is ready to give him a second chance.

However, no one was interested in him and as a result, the shelter decided to start a PR campaign for Bowie.
They hoped that at least it would help the sweet boy. “Whoever adopts our sweet Bowie is sure to have the best companion imaginable.”

When Bowie’s story hit social networks, he was just flooded with requests.
More than 45 offers in a few days and they had to choose the best one where the dog would feel really happy.
So it was the end of August when Bowie finally went to his new home. He seemed to know that he finally had his loving family.
More than 1255 days in foster care and he is finally in his perfect home.
The shelter staff recently said that the dog is doing quite well in his new family.
