So happy that the chained dog in the yard is now finally free. He’s been dreaming about that day for so long and it’s finally here…
A man from Detroit came to the rescue of the sweet dog to help him get rid of those heavy chains.
But as it turned out, he couldn’t release it without help, so he quickly contacted Rebel Dogs Detroit to ask for help.
So one of the volunteers, Tiffany Perkins,immediately came to the scene and saw the poor dog, who was still scared and probably had some health issues. They named the dog Becker and took him to the vet.
“The dog was very timid and when we wanted to approach him, he would hide behind the garage,” said Perkins.
“When I started to call him, he looked at me from the side but still seemed to be hesitating whether to come out or not.
So after some tome I decided to approach and noticed how his tail started to move.
Then he got out of there and evem allowed us to pet him. It seemed like he was starting to trust us realizing that we were there to help him.
Then he got so excited that he couldn’t stop smiling and jumping around.” But unfortunately, the chain was still stuck around the dog’s neck.
After taking him to the clinic, the sweet dog underwent an operation that took more than 5 hours.
Fortunately, everything went well and now Becker feels great. “We waited 5+ hours for his operation,” Perkins said.
“But we are so happy, that everything went very well and when I approached him, he rushed to me and soon fell asleep with his head in my lap.”
