Agee came to his attention when he needed to locate a polar bear once. Agee was raised in a zoo when she was just eight weeks old at the time.
This polar bear’s mother had ten more cubs and was unable to care for them. Mark made the decision to train him for the movie. And he was successful at that. They continued to have a special relationship after that.
Mark told Animal Planet that he was just doing his job, but that while he was doing it, he became very attached to her. Mark was certain that Agee was in love with him, despite his doubts.
Dawn, his wife, however, stated to Animal Planet that she is certain Agee loves him as well. Agee, as the saying goes, can become irate when Mark is distracted by someone else.
This couple still has a very good relationship today. Mark claimed that Agee never made him feel unsafe. This polar bear purrs when it gets close to Mark.
This is because she feels at ease around him. They can’t be separated from one another. Even though she is an animal, Mark loves her, and she must also love him.
