Wildlife is usually quite uncomfortable in the presence of people, but when this Estonian soldier went for a walk in the woods, he և his unit was deployed, he had the sweetest surprise. A kitten approached him and started kissing him.
The man immediately realized that the little cute animal could get lost, he did everything to save the day.
Erich Yiri Prikko had an experience during a military exercise on the shores of Lake Vircyarv in Estonia that he never thought he would have in these circumstances.
While walking in a nearby forest, Erich encountered a helpless fog. What he initially thought was the sound of a crying cat turned into a confused little owl.
“I heard some funny sounds that reminded me of a cat or a small child,” the man told The Dodo. “I noticed a beautiful animal walking towards me. At first, he reminded me of a dog, but I soon realized it was a little mouse trying to tell me something. ”
As it turned out, the little animal was completely alone, because his mother was nowhere to be found. Erich tried to comfort the baby, so he lay down by the tree, hoping that his anxious mother would return soon. However, he never expected the baby to be so friendly.
“He walked slowly towards me,” said Enrich. “At first he was quite shy, but finally decided that I seemed trustworthy, he became very close to me.”
Although he was very sweet and gentle, he was constantly kissing Enrich, the little mouse looked very hungry, so the good soldier decided to do something about it. He called for help և shortly after someone came with a bottle of milk to feed the baby.
“I called our veterinary office and told them what had happened,” he said. “I wanted to do more for the little calf, I wanted to ask what I should do.”
After spending a few hours in the company of the mouse, Enrich had to leave.
But taking the lost animal with him would only make things worse, so he left exactly where he had found it, hoping that his mother would eventually return. Fortunately, this happened sooner rather than later.
“The next morning we noticed very fresh big footprints of mice, which showed that the little calf was saved by its mother,” said Enrich. “I wanted the calf’s mother to find him.
I was very pleased to learn that they had indeed found each other.”
