Donna De Luca and her husband adore their four-legged friend and with good reason.
After all, he saved the two most vulnerable members of their family from a poisonous snake. Were it not for the brave dog, neither seven-year-old Mol nor his 75-year-old grandmother could have survived that day.
The family was saddened by the death of their old dog.
So, in the end, they decided to take me to kindergarten. Thus, a two-year-old German pastor appeared in their home.
They named the new pet House. Dani’s husband did not communicate with her at first, but a little later House still managed to please him.
Thus, by the time of the incident, the dog had already become a full and beloved member of the De Luca family. Maybe that’s why he needed to protect Molly from the venomous snake.
At first no one understood what was happening. And Molly was even frightened when she saw that her beloved dog with a belligerent look suddenly rushed to the lawn in front of him.
It soon became clear that there was indeed a battle here.
The dog began to cry, obviously in great pain. The family immediately picked him up and took him to the veterinarians at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners.
The dog was found to have been bitten by at least three snakes. According to veterinarians, he was injured during the fight with the viper.
And, most likely, with a very venomous rhombic snake, which is considered one of the most dangerous snake species in the United States.
The antidote that attenuates the effects of this snake venom is used in very small quantities, but it costs a lot of money.
In such cases, the usual dose is one or two ampoules.
However, veterinarians were unsure of how poisonous the dog’s body was, so they advised him to drip. Despite this, for some time it seemed to everyone that this battle would be the last for House.
The family has already come to terms with the fact that their beloved dog sacrificed himself to save the life of Molly, his grandmother. There was no hope that he would survive.
However, IV eventually worked. House regained consciousness, the danger passed. And a week later he managed to go home.
