TEST

Rescue horses roam Willy Nelson’s Texas ranch.
It is said that “the way a person treats animals gives a window to their soul.”

A world away from the stage, with his old pickup truck at the helm instead of a guitar, Willie Nelson likes little more than walking the 700-acre Hill County, Texas.

Legendary singer Willie Nelson is much more than just music. One of his other passions is his 700-acre ranch in Texas, which he affectionately calls “Luck”. In this interview, he explained jokingly.

“When you are here, you are in luck, and when you are not, you do not need luck.”

There are more than seventy horses on Willie’s ranch that are allowed to roam freely with vast possessions.

He has been rescuing these horses for years, most of which he rescued just before going to the slaughterhouse. Others have survived severe neglect or abuse.

Together with his daughter, Willie has been fighting for years to close the slaughterhouses in Texas.

He loves horses so much that he even included a song on his album, which was released later in 2019, entitled “Ride Me Back Home”.

Willie said proudly. “My horses are probably the most successful in the world.

They are fed by hand twice a day, and they were just ready to go butcher, probably the last thing they remembered, so they are happy horses. ”

Willie Nelson Horse Rescue Leaving music does not seem to be Willie’s plans any time soon. At the age of eight or seven, he still spends about 200 days a year on the road.

Willie admits that there are a lot of trips, he says.

“I retire after every show. I say, “Yes, I’ll not go anymore,” but then we spent some time, “people [his band] want to play, we’re going to play again.” that’s his life.

“You have to be a little bit smarter as we get older. “I think from time to time I get a little smarter, but I’m not sure.”

It is so reassuring to see someone so well-known, well-known, really caring for animals, working to improve their lives, especially those on the way to slaughter. It is said that “the way a person treats animals gives a window to their soul.”
