More than 4 years later, the horse reunites with an old friend

ART and NATURE

Horses remember old friends. Do they feel emotions? We are going to find out.

“On December 14, 2012, I bought back Arthur, a horse that I bred but had to sell four and a half years ago.

During this time, two of Arthur’s “foal” teammates, William, who was with Arthur because they were foals, and Harry, who came as a foal a year later, stayed with me.

We’ve had a few moves, and Harry William has shared his life with many other equine ponies since the spring of 2009. Mustons Field The place where I lived in Dorset, where all my horses and ponies grew up, has long since been sold.

This reunion took place very far away in East Sussex, in a field where William and Harry had lived for just two weeks while I was studying in the area, so there was nothing familiar.

Is Arthur now an eight-and-a-half-year-old purebred sport horse who has spent the last four and a half years in the backyard of a high-end private competition remembering two hairy pony playmates from New Forest with whom he once shared in his youth?

And similarly, will William and Harry recognize that little puritanical boy who was once their best friend?
