Alex was ready to surrender. He was very thin, dehydrated, exhausted, had wounds on his body full of worms, writes ilovemydogsomuch.
He was dying.
And worst of all, he was stuck in a remote area on the side of the road, unable to escape on his own. There was a collar with a long chain, from which it was stuck.
The situation is worse, he was not off the road. The chances of rescuing him in time were slim, by no means.
But he knew little that his life was going to get much better, that the past would not haunt him.
A person named Alex (after whom the kitten is named Alex) noticed a pale kitten as he cleaned the area. He immediately called for help from the Feed Friends Foundation, a local pet rescuer.
They agreed to receive him. They found a great guardian in Ale Haddock who had to take care of him, as he was being treated “physically and mentally”.
The road to his recovery would be long and difficult, but Alex and his team of supporters would be handed over.
While living with his guardian, he encountered new puppies that showed him the ropes and helped him along the way. Alex was such a sweet dog, he loved every person and animal he met.
In time, Alex began to heal from the inside out. The wound of the body healed, as well as the wound of the heart.
When he was fully healed, he found a loving eternal home, where he now enjoys his second chance at life.
