Two women were driving on their way to Bali when one of them noticed a dog bent over a small dog house in front of an empty villa. They immediately stopped to check on the dog and realized how bad it was when they approached.
He looked malnourished, most of his hair was missing due to itching, which made his skin very thin and sore.
They gave him food, water, and he had to be very careful so that he would not be afraid of appearing on the next route. They spent the next hour gaining his trust before they could catch him.
To their surprise, the baby was very calm when they lifted him. He seemed to know that he was finally safe, that these women were there to help him
They took him to a veterinarian, where it was confirmed that he had itching, like an eye infection, which fortunately was easy to treat. They then brought him home so that they could take care of him in a comfortable environment while he was recovering both physically and mentally.
They decided to name this sweet girl Lucy. Lucy’s life is still a mystery, but one thing is certain: the days and years to come will finally be all she deserves, more.
During his recovery, he had many “firsts”, including visiting the beach and walking on the grass. Lucy came out of her shell, became very friendly. He likes to cuddle and enjoys playing with other dogs.
A month later, Lucy finally found an eternal home in Washington with a loving couple named Matthew Brianna.
“I think given everything she’s been through, the fact that she’s so sweet, so loving, she trusts us, it’s just a miracle,” Brianna told The Dodo.
Lucy quickly moved into her new home and immediately contacted her new parents. He lives his life, he breaks down every day. His transformation is absolutely incredible.
