Dad who is a musician hears 2-year-old kid singing Elvis and records the sweetest video

ART and NATURE

Kids have an uncanny ability to absorb what’s going on around them and inform their parents of things they shouldn’t know.

That can be bad at times, like when you accidentally swear and your child keeps saying it. However, there are other times when it can be a life-affirming experience that leaves parents breathless with possibilities.

Guitarist Steven Converse hails from Modesto, California. Daniel, his 2-year-old son, is frequently present when his father is creating music at home, and he has unavoidably picked up a few songs along the way.

Steven and his wife, on the other hand, were both shocked and delighted when Daniel started singing the lyrics to Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love” out of the blue.

Steven remarked, “It was kind of a special moment for us to hear him, just like memorizing the words and singing it by himself.”

Steven, like any good musician, made the decision to encourage Daniel’s love of music on the spot.

After bringing the young boy into his music studio and putting on headphones, he played guitar with him as they recorded the song.

After Steven uploaded it to Facebook, it quickly went viral, despite the fact that their intention was merely to capture this moment for family memories.

Steven posted on Facebook, “Daniel’s first time trying the mic when he was just two.” pleaded to sing Elvis songs. At our house, we still watch this video every day.

Sure enough, Daniel has memorized the song! Before the video stops, the toddler sings the first, second, and chorus in his sweet, childlike voice.

Even though he doesn’t know every word, the melody is spot-on! This performance is especially impressive for those of us who “can’t carry a tune in a bucket.”

This youngster already knows how to move in time with the beat, change his voice for different verses, and basically do this wonderful song justice. Daniel did a great job!
