An abused pony was sold for a meat trade, hugging a man who saved him at the last moment

TEST

When Texas couple Natasha Kirk Hans moved to a small farm in Fort Worth, their goal was to give their five children, their rescue horses, an open space where they could connect and thrive, writes ilovemydogsomuch.

But they had little idea that they would add more horses to the family.

The couple discovered a brutal horse auction that took place on the spot.

Most of the buyers were from slaughterhouses.

They met the high demand for horse meat in countries such as China, Germany and Switzerland. Kirk eventually rescued two mini-horses before sending them to the slaughterhouse.

One of the rescued ponies, Tobias, showed signs of extreme neglect and violence.

He hung his head all day and looked at the ground. He avoided family attempts to touch or caress him. Kirk became worried about the horse’s severe depression.

However, 48 hours later, Tobias finally found out that he had been saved, that there was no violence in the love he had received. He finally hugged Kirk as his father, hugged him with a feeling of lightness and happiness.

This video where Tobias hugs his new dad will melt your heart.
