A heartbreaking scene took place in downtown Houston last Thursday when a six-year-old police horse named Charlotte was killed by a cement truck after being hit.
Tennessee Walker threw Officer D. To Jericho, his
rider, because he was afraid of something. He then got stuck in a counter-attack, after which he was hit.
Unfortunately, his legs were completely injured, so he was taken to the scene.
Emotionally, Officer Herejon lay down next to the horse to comfort him in his last moments.
A post was posted on the Houston PD Facebook page explaining what happened, explaining that Charlotte is a great member of the HPD after serving there for four years.
They added that they would miss him forever. How emotional! Watch the video below.
