Otter seeks refuge in a man’s boat as he barely escapes the jaws of a killer whale

ART and NATURE

The close encounter between the killer whale and its otter hunt is what 37-year-old John Dornellas recently felt up close.

Donella’s, who works with the Alaska Intelligence Company and provides boat tours of the area, witnessed a near-death.

Daniels was on a boat when he saw a commotion in the water.

He realized that something was swimming in his boat more and more to avoid eating the killer whale. The whale’s back swim close as the otter rushes to avoid murder.

Suddenly the otter comes out of the water and takes refuge in a boat near Donella, who can not believe what he saw.

“Are you kidding me?” Donella said loudly as she filmed the meeting. “Get up, duck,” he says to the otter.

For the next few minutes, the otter stays safe on the ship as the killer whale orbits its prey. For a moment the ottoman goes back to the water and then changes his mind in favour of the boat.

The very close encounter lasted for some time as the otter eventually fell into the water again when the killer whale left the ship.
