Men see a “balloon” in the ocean, but realize that it is a poor creature fighting for life

ART and NATURE

Bryce Treet Angel Hernandez was jogging off the coast of Palos Verdes, Los Angeles, when they noticed a strange “bubble” floating in the middle of the ocean, writes ilovemydogsomuch.

As they moved to take a closer look, they were horrified to see a young sea turtle entangled in a Mylar balloon.

In this video, we see Bryce jump into the ocean to rescue a still sea turtle. In his head, the front flaps were entwined in a balloon, and the back flaps were tightly pressed into his strands.

Bryce and Angel rescued the turtle and carefully trimmed the tangled parts of the balloon.

The sea turtle looked strong and healthy, so the couple released him into the ocean again.

This is the second time in a few months that Bryce and Angel have found a turtle trapped in the rubbish, claiming that the ocean is filled with balloons that threaten marine life.

The duo hopes that instead of releasing the balloons into the air, people will take full responsibility. This video is incredibly depressing and at the same time eye-opening.

It’s time for humans to stop dumping garbage and harming the well-being of other creatures.
