Stray Rescue of St. Louis happened to be on a dog with an injured leg.
Of course, they were planning to save, but what they did not know was that they were going to save much more, writes ilovemydogsomuch.
Immediately after rescuing the dog, they noticed that he had milk.
It was then that they learned that this dog was a new mother she had puppies somewhere nearby. The rescuers knew they had to look for them and act quickly.
They went straight to the brush where the mother dog lived to see if her cubs were there. Rescuers pushed the branches aside and crawled into the bushes until they finally found a small den.
Inside the bridge, a hole in the ground that looked like a “haven” was not a few puppies, but TEN. Their mother did so much work hiding them to keep them safe and warm.
The rescuers gently put the puppies in the container one by one before returning them to their mother. There they were able to provide the mother cubs with the medical care they needed.
The mother will have surgery on her injured leg, sterilize all the pups, sterilize them, and finally adopt them when they are old enough.
