Brave people risked their lives to save baby giraffe from drowning

A special relationship based on respect, trust and care. And when a helpless animal is in need, people know they need help. This is the case of this little giraffe that survived drowning in Kenya

For unknown reasons, the giraffe cub drowned in the middle of the Wasso Niro River in Kenya.

And since it was no longer difficult for a helpless creature due to strong currents, this overflowing river is also full of crocodiles. Therefore, the baby’s fate seemed to be sealed. However, help came from where less was expected.

A group of local conservationists heard the frightened giraffe and hurried to help him. A couple of hours later, thanks to the heroism of these brave, kind boys, the animal was saved.

Fortunately, some photos of the rescue were shared on the Internet by one of these handsome people so that people could show their gratitude.

“Wonderful rescue mission, congratulations to the great samburu wildlife friend Mr. Baba Xu team,” the user wrote. While another added. “Alas! What a demonstration of courage passion for wildlife, our precious heritage! ”

According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), some species of giraffes have recently been declared endangered.

Among them is the Masai giraffe. They are a subspecies that roam the lands of Kenya Tanzania , their number has remained in the wild for only 35,000 in the last three decades.
