Adding a new member to a family is a big step, a big adventure, and it can be very upsetting. That is clearly demonstrated by this young boy who was finally able to hold his younger brother.
From the start, he loved his brother. Their reaction is truly heartwarming.
Rayce, a 6-year-old boy, did not suffer from jealousy when he became a big brother, fortunately. He adores Tripp, his newborn Down syndrome brother.
Tripp’s first few weeks of life were anything but straightforward; he spent a significant amount of time in intensive care at the hospital.
Fortunately, though, his brother Rayce was there to comfort his younger brother at all hours of the day and night.
Rayce has three younger siblings in addition to Tripp. The family lives in Arkansas, USA. Everyone is pleased with the addition to their family, but Rayce has a very special bond with his younger brother.
He sings sweet and reassuring songs every day so that he doesn’t have to see him cry. The song, which expresses his love for his younger brother, is perfectly fitting.
