During an audition, the judges and audience of America’s Got Talent were pleasantly surprised by the “unexpected” performance of an exotic dancer who was 88 years old.
Penny could be regarded as a national treasure because she claimed to be the oldest burlesque dancer in the United States.
Sr. Penny Starr is from Florida’s Palm Bay. She had arrived at the AGT stage adorned with blue, white, and red feathers.
Penny responded that she was a widow with six husbands when Simon inquired if she was single. The media tycoon inquired about the candidate’s intentions regarding her seventh marriage.
She stated, Yes, but it takes some time to get used to them. Penny performed the tune “You’re a Grand Old Flag” at the beginning of her set.
When the elderly lady decided to undress each judge individually, the four of them were delighted. To commemorate the performance, host Terry Crews scattered blue, red, and white confetti all over the stage.
Penny received a standing ovation from Sofia Vergara, who added, “I want to be you when I grow up.” Penny was praised by Heidi Klum, a former Victoria’s Secret’s model.
Simon flirted with the sassy senior dancer because he was the one who was most impressed by her. However, he then boldly posed a question to Penny that would determine her AGT fate.
The contestant was questioned by the media tycoon, “If you were to proceed, would more clothes come off?” the enthusiastic senior responded that she would without a doubt.
Judge Howie Mandel yelled, “I want to see more!” at that point. Penny received a 4 yes.
