Veterinarian asked to euthanize unwanted puppy, but sad puppy still wants to live

TEST

A homeless puppy named Emu has started a very unlucky life, writes ilovemydogsomuch.

Not only was he starving in the streets, but a contagious plague later disrupted his chances of a healthy life. He was soon caught and taken to a veterinarian for euthanasia.

As soon as Emu came to the euthanasia table, he broke down and desperately hugged the veterinarian. He did not want to leave so soon, he begged the veterinarian to give him another chance.

The veterinarian was moved by Emu’s pleas and decided to save him. Emu was then transferred to Sidewalk Specials, where volunteers began caring for her.

Soon Emu left his stake and opened up to his rescuers and other dogs. Despite this, many who saw him considered him “ugly”, which greatly damaged his prospects for adoption.

Emu fought for every opportunity to survive. Let’s help this wonderful crown find an eternally loving home. Spread the word.
Update.

Sidewalk Specials has announced that Emu has found an eternal home in their “Adoption Day” event.

They thanked everyone who shared their story and contributed to his recovery. Emu is now called “Nutzie”, completely unrecognizable as a well-fed and well-groomed dog. What an incredible journey!

Click on the video below to see how Nutzi’s steadfast spirit helped him escape the murder list and find happiness.
