The horse racing industry is fully competitive.

Breeders breed as many foals as possible in the seas, but their sole purpose is to obtain valuable milk from nursing mothers to raise purebred breeds for the breeds, writes ilovemydogsomuch.
As the unwanted foals are shed and left to die, Victoria Goss, the founder of Last Chance Corral, comes to their aid.
She supports these babies and helps them survive without a mother. Through his dedicated efforts, he has recorded a much lower mortality rate for young foals than the industry average.

Victoria has been protecting horses since she was 12 years old. His heart bleeds for these abandoned foals, but financial constraints keep him from having a competitive staff around him.
He uses the help of volunteers when he is available, but mostly keeps the sanctuary on his own.
Unfortunately, the help provided to these foals is completely disproportionate to the huge number of breeding and falling horses.
He has to walk with a lot of foals every day because of his limited resources, it just breaks his heart.

Victoria’s selfless mission has captured our hearts.
