Two dogs sacrificed their lives to prevent the cobra from entering the house where the child was sleeping.
A one-year-old girl named Sky was sleeping in a house in the Philippine city of Kidabanban when a deadly snake crawled into a garden in front of her.
CCTV footage shows two-year-old white dachshund Mox rushing to the snake and barking.
The second dog, Miley, launches a fierce attack and catches the cobra. The cobra sways violently, trying to crawl away from the dogs.
But together they bite the cobra’s tail, pull it out of the baby toys, out of the room where Sky was sleeping.
After a two-minute fight, the snake stops moving and dies.
Miley’s wreckage also died from her injuries after being bitten by a cobra, one of the most venomous snakes in the world. Moxie survived but went blind after the poison appeared in his eyes.
Sky’s father, Jaime Selim, said he and his wife, Pau, were at work at the time. But their daughter was sleeping at home under the care of a nanny.
He said. “When we got there, our assistant told us what had happened, եց examined the cameras. We were shocked but proud of the dogs. ”
“I do not know how to thank my dogs for protecting my child.” And we will miss Miley a lot. ”
