This precious dog was abandoned by its owner when he became ill. He had a treatable case of Demodex mange, writes ilovemydogsomuch
But instead of taking him to the vet, he was thrown out into the street to get the proper medicine, as if his life meant nothing. His squad got worse when he was fighting on his own.
There is not enough food, the dog had to use all his energy to find what he could. His squad was so heavy that he developed secondary skin infections. His skin was incredibly sore.
He had ulcers everywhere, and all his skin fell on him. He was also thin. When the dog was found, he was so exhausted that he could not even stand for long.
Avan Northern Animal heard about the dog and tried to help him. But he was smart, avoiding capture again and again. Finally, a couple living in Iran saw a dog walking on the street and reached out to the rescue team.
They wanted to help the dog, whom they affectionately named Nora. They said that if the rescue team helped save Nora, they would give her a home forever.
Determined, Nora was finally captured and taken to a veterinarian.
His skin was hard as stone. The veterinarian, almost in tears, explained that Nora had the worst case of the plague she had ever seen. He was also malnourished, suffering from scabies.
When Nora was safe with the rescue team, it was time to work on her plague. They gave him antibiotics and painkillers. But most importantly, he should be given medicinal baths every day.
The treatment allowed her skin to soften, and the hard scales, which looked like potato chips, eventually fell off. Her skin was raw underneath, but it healed quickly.
She was covered with blankets while she slept. In this way he kept well and warm. During the day, he wore special shirts to protect his raw skin from the sun until the fur grew back.
Surprisingly, with proper medication and a good diet, Nora recovered quickly.
Nora’s new parents brought her home after she underwent a medical.
What Nora looks like now compared to before is an absolute miracle. you will not believe! Every life is expensive worth saving. We are very happy for Nora her new family.
