They locked the dog in an old car for 5 years, he sat down and slept in his dirt

NMDOG is a New Mexico-based non-profit rescue organization based in New Mexico that recently rescued 19 severely abused dogs from rural insects.

The dogs lived in extremely traumatic conditions, 12 of which were chained to the scorching earth 24/7. The rest lived in temporary pens rotting in their accumulated waste, writes ilovemydogsomuch.

The worst of all the rescuers was the condition of a dog named Musa. He was forced to live in an abandoned car for 5 years, surrounded by piles of his excrement, urine and other garbage.

The experience endangered his mental health, he crashed into a panel to avoid rescuers. The rescuers showed incredible skills when they got in the car and took him out of the mental prison.

All dogs are now under proper control, but their physical and emotional recovery will take time. Meanwhile, the rescuers decided to keep the location of the property secret.

This is to protect the former guardian of these dogs, who is terribly “sorry” for the terrible condition of these helpless dogs.

The rescuer clarified that the guardians of the dogs will not be charged because they have reached out for help. It was also difficult to enforce animal welfare laws in remote rural areas.

At the end of the day, local rescuers must ensure the well-being of the animals in these rustic pockets.
