Coming to the shelter with her 6kittens, the mother was in immediate need of rescue.
When Haidi Shoemaker, who is a Foster Kitten CO, learned of the mother cats’ plight, rushed to their aid and took the big family into her care.
Haidi provided a very comfortable room for them, where the mother cat took care of her 6 babies and protected them all the time.
Day by day, she began to warm to her guardians as she realized that her kittens were safe there.
She was an extremely attentive mother to her babies, working around the clock.
When the kittens grew up enough and no longer needed round-the-clock care, she began to finally relax in her cozy, warm corner, enjoying all the comforts of it.
However, the kittens turned to have some stomach problems that had to be treated in time.
The mother cat, together with Haidi, did everything for the kittens so that they would recover quickly.
And when their tummy issues were resolved, the kitties immediately became more active and mischievous, also gaining weight.
Now when everything is alright with the babies Taylor sits and looks at them like a proud mother.
After spending some weeks in the foster care they are now ready to turn this page of the book and move on to the next chapter, waiting for their forever homes.
