Hope For Paws has received a rescue call for a three-legged homeless Chihuahua who has been living in a shoebox for months. When the rescuers arrived at the scene, they were not ready for the dog’s oppressive condition, ilovemydogsomuch writes.
Chihuahua could barely move, even when it was raining.
One of the rescuers touched him and found out that he was completely wet from the shower. One family fed him during these months, but Chihuahua seemed to have other medical problems that left him seriously ill.
The poor dog always believed that no one would take care of a sick and disabled dog like him.
So when the rescuers lovingly caressed him and promised to protect him, the dog’s eyes shone, and he gratefully hugged the kind souls who had come to him.
The rescuers called Chihuahua “Princess” and promised to bathe her with love and care. He was taken to a shelter for a cleansing bath and then hospitalized for life-threatening anaemia.
After months of recovery, the Princess has finally recovered and is ready for adoption. Even on 3 legs, she is a bright girl who runs to her rescuers to hug and hug.
We hope that the Princess will find an eternal home where she will be loved and cherished for the rest of her days.
