Noticing the cat, looking at them from the other side of the window, the firefighters let him in to save him from the severe cold

ART and NATURE

The street cat was in severe cold, so having no other option, he decided to go under the window of the fire station to ask for help.

He hoped that the people working there would notice him and approach to help.

One of the firemen was very surprised when, passing by, he noticed how a small cat was looking at him from the other side of the window.

“It was quite cold that day and I saw the poor little cat standing outside the window. When one of our firefighters came out and approached him, he immediately ran to him.”

The cat continued to sit under the window and it was clear to them that he had nowhere to go. The firemen could not leave the cat outside in that cold weather, so they took him inside.

They were afraid that the cat would freeze because of a severe frost. After a while, when the cat started to warm up, he showed his sweet nature.

The cat turned out to be dirty and very hungry, but at the same time, despite all that, the cat was so excited that it couldn’t stop purring.

Despite the fact that Kelvin, one of the firefighters, already had four cats at home, he offered to temporarily take the cat to his house.

He named the kitten Amber and took him to the vet a few days later. There they reported that apart from slight frostbite on the tips of the ears, the cat had no other problems and was quite healthy.

“I first posted his photo and story on Facebook, thinking maybe someone had lost this cat. But as for several days no one responded, I took him to the vet, where he was examined and vaccinated.”

All this time, Amber behaved like a brave cat and did not resist at all. He seemed to enjoy human attention and needed nothing else for perfect happiness.

The firefighters liked the cat so much that they wanted to make Amber a station cat, but since the station has weekends and no one would be able to take care of him during that time,

they realized that they had to find another way so that the cat would not feel alone.

So kind people eventually started looking for a permanent home for him, which didn’t take long.

“We just posted the sweet photos of him on Facebook and it seems like we found his new owners in seconds,” Kelvin said.
