Baby Elephant Was Given Prosthetic Leg After Losing Leg To Landmine

TEST

Meet Mosha, the special elephant who made history as the first elephant in history to be fitted with an effective prosthetic prosthesis.

He was only 7 months old when he lost his leg to a mine. This put a lot of stress on his spine, as well as on his other 3 limbs.

Moshan is an irreversible resident of the Friends of the East Elephant Foundation (FAE) in Thailand, where he has acquired his new leg.

The organization focuses on developing templates for still-growing elephants.

When he does not have his foot, he can simply do things like lean against a wall or rail to relieve pressure.

He is also good friends with another local who lives at the FAE’s health facility called Motola.

Unfortunately, Matola is not as comfortable as Mosha with her new leg, this is the result of her developmental patterns.

Watch the video of Mosha under her brand new leg.
