Two dogs are recovering at the SPCA in Niagara Falls after being caught from an abused home.
The Niagara Falls Police Department responded to an anonymous call from two dogs in the backyard who appeared to be in “critical condition.”
One of the dogs was a six-month-old puppy now called Hami, and the other was a female Pit Bull breed known by a foreign name.
Officer Jimmy Tucci noticed that both dogs had difficulty walking and desperately needed to be rescued.
“An officer responded and noticed that a dog could not put pressure on his leg.
The other dog, Hamin, was emaciated, dehydrated, and could barely walk. “His leg was so swollen and bruised that the officer had to take him away,” the shelter said.
Ham was rushed to North Town, where he is currently being treated by the Niagara-based SPCA.
Even if both dogs are mistreated or ignored, they are as sweet as possible.
“It is heartbreaking to think that Hami is just a child. This horrible attitude is all he knows, but we assure him that his life will be better from now on,” the shelter wrote.
Ham is spoiled by the staff with tons of attention, love, and expectation that he will fully recover. They recently announced in an updated video that Ham is waiting for home forever after he is fully recovered.
Tucci’s wife, Samantha Lin, commented: “My husband responded to this call. Heartbreaking. We pray for her to be adopted. ”
Tucci arrives at the shelter to see how Ham is, plans to meet and greet the couple’s dog Manny.
The shelter shared the big news, saying: “The respondent officer is going to adopt him. We are very, very excited about that.”
The foreigners arrived in better shape than Hami, they are doing well. After a medical diagnosis, he also has a permanent home with law enforcement.
WKBW reports that the local sheriff is adopting the sweet girl.
People praised the officer for rescuing and adopting the dogs. They also thanked the anonymous caller and all those who care for the sweet cubs.
“I am just happy to have the dogs, thank you for rescuing them. “Those sad eyes will soon become happy eyes,” one wrote.
