Unlikely , some people are afraid of Simba simply due to his breed.
Simba lives in an apartments with his master, Arjanit
Although to dog always approaches his neighbours in a friendly way, many of them avoid to approach him.
There was one old neighbor, who seemed particularly cold toward Simba , an elderly lady living on the floor below.
Dog always tried to greet her, but she looked at him with fear and didn’t allow him to come near . Arjanit told The Dodo. “She never liked him because he was a ‘bad’ breed.”
One day, Arjanit and Simba came home after a walk when they walked past the neighbor’s apartment on their way up the stairs. It was at this moment that Simba started acting strangely.
“He stopped,” Arjanit said. “He began to bark and run to the door where the neighbor lives. I pulled the leash but he refused to come.”
Simba would not leave, so Arankit picked him up. That was when he heard a faint sound coming from inside.
“I heard a weak voice shout for help,” Arjanit recalled. “She said, ‘Please don’t go.’”
Luckily the door was unlocked so Arjanit was able to get in and find his neighbor was fallen on the floor.
“She had broken her hip and been in her home for a while,” Arjanit said.
She had been unable to move for two long days.
Arjanit called an ambulance and waited with the neighbor until it arrived.
Her life had been saved by a brave dog , a dog she had never treated kindly .
“She said, ‘Thank you for hearing me.’ I thought she was talking to me at first,” Arjanit called out . “But then she said, ‘No, not you — the nice dog.’”
Others in the building have realized that Simba is a hero and they have been showering him with gifts and treats.
