What happened to the mama orangutan made the rescuers cry

ART and NATURE

Pregnant orangutan Clara has given birth to an orangutan girl, Clarita, at the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.

However, immediately after the birth, the staff of the sanctuary realized that the newborn was missing from his room, writes ilovemydogsomuch.

This protected sanctuary, located in a dense forest, is usually free of poachers.

However, the panicked workers did not leave a stone unturned to find little Clarita. They eventually found the child held captive by a 14-year-old male-dominated orangutan, Rizki.

After freeing the Clarita alpha male from the clutches of the male abductor, the workers found out that he was extremely weak.

She also had a skin condition and needed immediate medical attention. After days of treatment, Clarita was finally in danger, but she was still quite weak.

At this point, employees were afraid to introduce Clarita to Clara again.

Whether Clara was miserable since the disappearance of her daughter, workers knew that orangutans refused to attack their fragile offspring if they thought they could not survive.

In this video, we see the tense moments when workers bring Clarita to her heartbroken mother. Clara is confused at first but quickly gives in to her motherly instincts, hugging her daughter with all her love.

Workers cry when they see emotional Clara holding her baby tightly as she tries to feed him.

The mother just wants to protect her precious child. We wish Clara Clarita a long, healthy life together.
