PETA fieldworkers were passing by when they saw a dog tangled on the property and stopped to help.
But when they approached, the owners said they were not even interested in keeping the dog. It was obvious that they had stopped caring long ago.
So they took him away. Flannel was very timid at first, he did not know what to do inside, and he had to learn how to be a dog for the first time in his life.
It would be a process, but a process that his guardian, Wendy, was more than ready to see.
