The rescued kangaroo insists on crawling on the couch with his father every day

ART and NATURE

No one could ever say “no” to some quality time he spent sitting on a soft couch watching his favorite TV show.

However, if this is your daily routine, it may be a little too much . Here’s how this lazy kangaroo spends his days. All of you, meet Rufus, the most spoilt joey in the world.

Rufus’s life was not always like this when he was over four years old. The kangaroo was rescued at the age of eight months and was found in the Patch Kangaroo Sanctuary in Boston, South Australia.

Fortunately, in Kim Haywood and her husband Neil, the sanctuary administrators, he received all the love and comfort he needed.

As the “compassionate couple” and the rescued kangaroo developed strong ties, Kim and Neil chose to keep Rufus in their home. Now he behaves as if he owns a house, or at least a sofa.

Rufus enjoys his days relaxing on the soft couch, cuddling with his father.
However, Neil and Kim soon realized that the sofa might not be large enough to accommodate them all.

Rufus, on the other hand, wants it all for himself, and sometimes for his father. Because he sometimes begs Nil to rub his belly, which Nil does happily.

“When he first started doing it, we thought it was the sweetest thing ever,” Kim continued “He sleeps fast because he knows it will be safe there, he does not mind watching a little TV.”

The Haywoods, on the other hand, do not seem to worry that there is no other place for them on the couch. The most important thing for them is that Rufus is satisfied ոհ satisfied.

Watch Rufus’s response when his mother says it ‘s time to go to bed.
