The explosions that followed the ongoing war by Russia frightened the mother dog.
Her eight cubs were left in a hole 11 feet deep on the ground as scared as possible. At this point, the mother was gone for three days.
The rescuers took the cubs out of the ground one by one and transferred them to the box.
Before leaving for care, they made sure there were no other pups in the area or the dirt.
