When four Brazilian police officers returned to their patrol car after completing a routine operation, they were surprised to find a dog in the driver’s seat.
The police tried to get the dog out of the car, but he refused. The little puppy started to cry and get excited.
He sighed and begged for help.
“She cried a lot. ”
Heseemed to be abandoned on the side of the road,” wrote Santa Catherine Polcia Militar Rodoviária.
It was obvious that the dog was looking for help, he knew exactly where to look.
He got into the police car and waited for the officers to return.
The police were so moved by the dog’s cries for help that they decided to bring him back to the station to try to find a home.
The dog wagged its tail and happily grabbed the soft bushes of the police on the way to the station.
Fortunately, Corporal Maurcio chose to adopt the little puppy, who named him Rex after hearing the terrible story.
” He chose to adopt her, which made her children happy,” the officials said. “His name is Rex.” says the historian.
The police department happily posted the story of the rescue on its Facebook page, where it quickly spread viral and received numerous compliments.
The dog was excited to have a new home with wonderful owners.
“Congratulations to everyone on their treatment,” said one supporter, “to two police officers who had a decent heart for removing him from the highway and to another police officer, Mauricio, for adopting Rex.”
We are relieved to know that Rex is now a happy, healthy dog who is loved and cared for by his owners. Thanks to everyone who helped save him.
