Loyal Pit Bull Leapt Into Action To Save His Human From Venomous Snake

TEST

Haley McCormack was walking to the balcony of her home in Davidson, Tennessee when her dog, Arlo, jumped to her rescue.

What McCormack did not see was a venomous copper snake hiding in a corner near the stairs.

Arlo jumped on the snake when it was thrown back, about to strike, grabbed it by its tail, waving it back and forth.

Arlo killed the snake, saved his man, but bit his face three or four times.

McCormack rushed Arlo to Nashville BluePearl Pet Hospital, where he was given an antidote, CBD oil.

His neck face and face were very swollen and his eyes were almost completely swollen, but he is recovering he is expected to recover completely.

“It’s unique to think about how loyal he was to me, to risk his life for me,” McCormack told WTVF. “We are both lucky to have each other.”

Unfortunately, Arlo was not the only dog at BluePearl Pet Hospital that bit a snake that day.

According to Animal Hospital, they have already treated more than a dozen cases of snake bites in their area this summer alone.

McCormack hopes Arlo’s story will warn people of the dangers of snakes, not just for humans but for pets.
