Firefighters were simply amazed when they came to work and found the cat covered in soot.

He probably climbed into the fire truck during the fire and stayed there until they found him.
The sweet kitty was named Salty, who was clearly very scared and in a complete frenzy.

After going to his new home they decided to rename the cat Smokey, which was the most suitable for him.
It was just love at first sight when the cat saw Michael Rosemary.
He’s now doing great there, eating like a true champ. He truly enjoys his life surrounded by his beloved people.
