This is a wonderful moment when a completely blind dog immediately recognizes his grandfather about a year later.

A heart-rending reunion shows how much love there is between the two. ”
Steve first met Bitsy five years ago when she was just 6 weeks old.
Steve was quite skeptical at the time after his daughter brought home a deaf-blind puppy. He was afraid of what kind of life such a helpless dog would have.
But even the deaf and tied Bits had a huge heart that was filled with nothing but love and kindness. And Steve was going to find out very soon.
“Betsy is the sweetest, friendliest, most lovable, and loyal dog in the world,” Steve’s daughter Crystal told THE DODO. “He’s brave, he’s a fighter, he loves adventure.”
With such charisma beside him, Bates could expect only one thing from his grandfather: a special connection, a special friendship. And Steve was quick to deliver it.

“He soon became his number one fan, his biggest champion,” shared Crystal.
“He will tell everyone who listens what a wonderful dog he is, how much he loves him. He does things typical of his grandfather, spoiling him with parties and toys. ”
But like everyone else, last year was pretty good for Kristal and her family. Because of the restrictions, he and Bates were separated from their parents for about a year.
So when Steve arrived to meet his daughter, most importantly, his “granddaughter,” he was unsure if the dog he loved so much would recognize him. Well, his suspicions are baseless.
