Baby pygmy hippo loves to sleep wherever he finds himself

Pygmy is an endangered species of hippopotamus that needs to be protected. There are only 2,000 of them left in the world. Fortunately, the aquarium in Osaka, Japan is helping to increase their population.

Recently, Tam Tam was added to the number of pygmy hippos. He is an adorable ball that loves to be in the water. According to his in-law, he likes to sleep everywhere.

Tam Tam can be found sleeping by the pool, on the ground or even on the grass. It was midnight when she was born without a problem.

He weighed only 6.4 kg at birth. Pygmy hippos are small. Within a month, he could easily be bathed, relaxing in the palm of his hand.

When Tam Tam was three months old, he started brushing his teeth. He opened his mouth wide to show his guardians how many teeth he had.

Tam Tam likes to go to the pool with his mother. He is still so small that his whole body stays underwater as he walks across the pool.

Tam Tam has become strong and healthy. He worked on his swimming skills, he can keep his head on the water. In more than a year, he gained more than 100 kilograms.
