At The Funeral For His Best Friend, A Horse Says His Last Goodbyes

TEST

Wagner Figueredo de Lima and his beloved horse Sereno were inseparable in real life. Unfortunately, their time together was interrupted recently.

Lima, 34, died earlier this week from injuries sustained in a car crash near his home in the Brazilian city of Paraiba, a devastating loss to anyone who knew him, including his best friend.

Hundreds of family and friends attended Lima’s funeral on Tuesday before his funeral. Considering how important his horse was to Lima, his sister and brother Vando felt it was right for Sereno to be present.

But no one could predict what would happen next.

Lima’s funeral procession gathered hundreds of family members and friends on Tuesday before his funeral. Because Sereno was so important to Lima, his sister Vando thought it appropriate to have him there as well.

However, no one could have predicted what would happen next.

Sereno then knelt down and rested on the coffin.

Vando told Globo News. “This horse was everything to him.” “It was as if the horse was aware of what was happening and wanted to say goodbye.”

Sereno then joined the other mourners, escorting Lima to his final burial place.

Sereno was obviously indignant. “All the way to the grave, he was sighing and hitting the ground with his hooves,” Vando told TV.

We may never know for sure how much an animal’s feelings match ours, but when grieving the death of a loved one, the difference between the two can easily be forgotten.

Fortunately, Sereno will not have to go through the process of grief alone.

Vando later adopted his late brother’s horse, guaranteeing that Lima’s legacy of love for Sereno would continue for many years to come in his new home.
