This is what happened because of a misdial. Can you imagine, these two people built a wonderful friendship for about 22 years? It’s about Gladys Hangerson and Michael Moffitt.
One day, the woman was trying to call her sister who lived in another city, but instead of dialing 410, she dialed 401and Mike answered the phone.
Of course, hearing that it was not his sister’s voice,she realized that she called someone else.
And so by chance the same thing happened several more times. One day, Moffitt picked up the phone again and finally asked who the caller was and why she was calling. And that was the beginning of their long friendship.
The thing is, Hankerson had recently lost her son and was going through a very difficult time in her life.
Moffitt, knowing the whole story, encouraged her in every way. Their contact thus became permanent and they already became best friends.
One day, Moffitt decided to surprise Hankerson. While on a weekend trip to Florida with his family, he surprised the woman by showing up at her front door.
For both of them, it was a great meeting and an unforgettable day that they will remember forever.
Gladys said it was the best Thanksgiving she’s ever had. How nice it would be if there were more kind and caring people like Mike.
